HWC - THE LUDO

Introducing the HWC Lido made for @reticencestudio. This retro-style sports watch with white opal dial and a leather sports strap. Powered by a Japanese NH35 movement. The finishing touch is the Heusser watch Co signature (series 1) which makes this a truly unique timepiece.

HWC - The duece

Introducing HWC The Duece, made specially for Jason Randall. Based on our mutual love for tennis. The green dial symbolizes the green grass of the tennis court, the chronograph allows us to keep a stop-start timer going (if needed). Both of us worked for a sports TV channel so when we go on add breaks we can use it to count the seconds we are off air. Lastly, the singular orange small second relates to a tennis joke we make called “Orange Duece” which is at 30/40 before we get to duece… I love a deuce, its my favourite !

HWC - The Noir Shark

This watch was specially made for Cape Town-based jeweler, York VRVO. He makes strong masculine jewelry, and because he always wears black clothes, I made him a black watch. As an homage to the seaside living in Cape Town, and to create something special and instantly recognizable I added a small white shark on the second hand, slowly rotating and stalking its prey, endlessly trapped in a 50m waterproof case. The irony is not lost on me.

HWC - THE nobilis

The Nobilis is a special one-of-a-kind and is the 2nd in the HWC Series 1 collection that was designed with a woman in mind. This woman is beautiful and elegant, she is worldly yet down to earth. This elegant and functional watch can be worn to a meeting, to the beach, or with a nice evening dress. Classic in its beauty and appeal, and just like the woman in mind is timeless. The Nobilis is a 36mm, automatic movement with a stainless steel case and strap, featuring a cyclose for an enlarged date.

HWC - The Tricolour

The Tricolour was created for a proud Frenchman! A Parisian fashion magnate and entrepreneur, he is always busy yet has time for the finer things in life - like a glass of wine with his friend Ernst Heusser! The strong blue dial is punctuated by the heavy red hour hand. The red hand is visually functional and like a train watch allows the viewer to quickly see the general time. The original clocks only had one hand as it is only important to know the relative time per hour. As times have changed so we have added more hands… so our time now works in the epoch of seconds. With the white minute markers (with blue lumes) we finalise the theme of the french flag… The trico, flour is born.. long live the HWC Tricolour!

HWC - The YETI

The watch was inspired by my father and my homeland in Switzerland. This watch is resilient, simple and uncomplicated, reliable and comfortable with a heart of gold. Driven by a PT5000 mechanism with a stainless steel mesh band and is 100m water resistant. It’s one of my favorites, which is why I wear it myself. I have taken inspiration from both Omega and Rolex, meshed them together to make the Yeti unmistakable and unique…. and because I am not selling or repeating this one, it’s illusive like the Yeti itself.

HWC - THE porto

The Porto. Custom made for Alex Facta ( @thebathbiker ). The first dive watch in this series, is driven by an automatic nh35 movement with blue domed Saphire glass and a Tsunami Wave engraving on the back. This one-off piece is classic in design and can be worn daily or with a suit.

HWC - The GOVENOR

The Govenor by Heusser Watch Company. The newest and finest dress watch made for Azim Karimjee. This is the first DAY/DATE watch that has been made by HWC. With a stainless steel gold 39mm case and a royal blue dial with a black leather strap with a gold quick-release clasp. Powered by Japanese movement. Elegant and profound like its new owner!

HWC - The Richmond

This watch is inspired by the London area of Richmond. Its timeless and elegant, and although urbanization has taken over the once green fields, its beauty is protected by Richmond Park where deer still roam freely along with countless natural fauna and flora. It is also very close to Wimbledon (the classic watch that has clearly been an inspiration for this HWC version). The new owner of this watch is an engineer, which is why I added a green thunderbolt secondhand (also an homage to a special watch out there). Together the two watches inspired this The Richmond, created between the past and the future and two different watches …. we end up with this unique watch.
